Well-Being

Well-being is defined by the Oxford English Dictionary as “the state of being comfortable, healthy, or happy.” The term typically refers to an inclusion of not only traditional physical health but also a more intangible realm involving satisfaction, personal fulfillment, and a sense of connectedness or belonging. There are many factors that contribute to a person’s sense of well-being, including physical and mental health, job satisfaction, social connection, and emotional wellness, to name just a few.
