Ayurveda (or Ayurvedic medicine) is a traditional Indian health care practice that is both preventative and curative. Ayurveda focuses on balancing different types of energy in the body and mind through diet, exercise, and other lifestyle habits. This approximately 5,000-year-old tradition continues to be an important form of health care in the Eastern world and has grown in popularity in the West.
